Cortaccia, Italy- A new product line for the urban environment aims to make cities more attractive and habitable.
The Up product range was developed by Ewo, in collaboration with the design team Norway Says (now divided into two companies by its former partners). The range encompasses lighting and street furniture, from bollards to bicycle stands, waste bins and a bench.
The simple design featured throughout the range allows planners to create an aesthetically coherent cityscape. The Up series won the iF Public Design Award 2010, which is judged on design, workmanship, choice of material, degree of innovation, environmental impact and functionality.
