Brno, Czech Republic – A new CD revels in the moment at which it is opened. Ivan Palacky’s new album, Pappeltalks, requires the listener to break a seal on the case in order to play it for the first time, which in turn causes the album’s artwork to appear on the front cover.
Hand made by the design agency Hubero Kororo , the cover is permanently stained when ink is set free, turning it the dark-blue colour of its contents. According to its creators, the design aims to provoke the same feeling that is experienced when listening to musician Palacky´s ‘peculiar’ performance for the first time.
