Stockholm – Beril Cicek, the first Turkish designer to exhibit in the Greenhouse space at Stockholm Furniture Fair, presented the ULL collection of mobile, collapsible and washable cabinets.
Inspired by traditional Icelandic Ullarpeysa sweaters and Saudskinnskor shoes, the wooden and knitted structures enable you to use clothes and shoes storage spaces as luggage. ‘The most important design factor for this concept is that the cabinets work as luggage. It is about making it easy to transfer home storage spaces to different places,’ Cicek tells LS:N Global.
The cabinets are reminiscent of the Nomadic Vendors design direction in LS:N Global’s Survivability macro Inspire.
