Sydney – Chef Dan Hong and the Merivale Group have opened Mr Wong, a Cantonese restaurant in the old Tank nightclub in Sydney.
The menu features more than 60 dishes and a pick-and-mix selection of contemporary Cantonese food.
The restaurant’s interior echoes colonial Shanghai from around 1930, complete with posters of Shanghai girls on the walls, heavy wooden beams and pre-revolution furnishings.
