UK – Fascinated by what our online habits say about our personalities, Royal College of Art graduate Diego Trujillo Pisanty has created Generated Man, a program that converts your browsing habits into a visual persona.
Users must first fill in a character sheet containing personal information and a list of interests. Once completed, the values entered are fed into Google’s search engine, which then begins to suggest websites based on what it perceives to be the personality of the user.
The results are then represented by a collection of models chosen by the software from Google’s 3D Warehouse. The unpolished visuals used by Pisanty are perfect examples of a Netstalgic aesthetic.
