Argentina – Ad agency BBDO has created an animation to launch Smart Car Argentina’s Twitter page which uses Twitter posts to create a moving graphic similar to old-fashioned flip books.
When the Smart Car Argentina Twitter page is loaded, holding down the J key makes a simple line image of a Smart Car appear to travel through an urban landscape across the Twitter feed space.
BBDO’s use of lo-fi graphics which are within the confines of Twitter’s 140-character limit is a resourceful, counterintuitive use of the site’s format. The simple graphics also reflect our Netstalgia macrotrend.
