Listed lab: Architects retrofit heritage site

Restrictions placed on the building prevented the architects from nailing or fixing anything to the walls or floor of the interior, so the space has free-standing storage cabinets that divide the area into an office, a laboratory, a staff area and a herb garden on wheels.
