Antwerp – A bar, restaurant and luxury bed and breakfast are available alongside the latest designer fashion and casual couture at a new concept boutique launched by Jeroen Smeekens. Located in a former scrap-metal dealer’s warehouse, Hospital, which has been designed in collaboration with Will Erens of design studio Puresang, will offer a retail experience that goes beyond beautiful clothes.
After stocking up on labels such as Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, shoppers can treat themselves to a drink selected by award-winning sommelier Jurgen Lijcops in the Vinipure wine bar. Those looking for further refreshment can enjoy the aperitifs and tapas in Glorious, the in-house restaurant/bar, then retire to the bed and breakfast to spend the night. In the morning, customers may choose to purchase the restored vintage car displayed on the ground floor – a different model will be on show every month – and return home in style.
