Newcastle, UK – High street baker Greggs has opened a subsidiary coffee shop called Greggs Moment.
‘We believe there is a market for Greggs to break into the growing coffee shop market,’ says Ken McMeikan, Greggs’ chief executive. ‘Greggs Moment is unique in offering customers the ability to choose great-tasting fresh food and drink all at incredible value prices that are much more affordable for today’s cash-strapped consumer.’
This is a move that will turn Greggs into centres of conviviality and appeal to today’s Just Not consumer.
