Out of the shadows: Fashion designer is on form

Ravarino, Italy – To promote Stone Island’s autumn/winter 2011–2012 collection Shadow Project, fashion designer Errolson Hugh has created a video of himself explaining a new ground-breaking fabric development framework called Parseq Grid that was used to design the collection.

In the film Hugh tries on the clothes while he outlines the technologically advanced features and functionality of Parseq Grid and how it ‘pushes form, function, fabric and clothing for the future’.

This is a great example of how brands are demonstrating the scientific design philosophy behind high-performance clothing. This meticulous approach will appeal to the Self-Quants tribe, who will be profiled as part of our Autumn Trend Briefing.
