New York – German car manufacturer, BMW, has collaborated with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to produce the BMW Guggenheim Lab, which opened yesterday (Wednesday) in Manhattan’s East Village.
Combining think tank, public forum and community centre, the Lab will go through three successive cycles, each with its own theme and specially designed mobile structure. After New York, the structures will go on a multi-city, six-year tour. In each, its aim will be to raise awareness of urban issues, hosting interactive role-play games that address issues such as education, housing and healthcare.
