Mobile health: Online videos fit for purpose

Alcobendas, Spain – Mobile brand Vodafone has created an online campaign to encourage the healthier use of mobile devices.

The brand produced three online videos in association with Spain’s Department of Health to show people how to use smartphones and laptops in a more healthy way. One of the video animations was shot from the perspective of an iPad user. On the screen an animated figure is shown using a series of mobile devices in an unhealthy way. The iPad user can then adjust the figure on screen back into the correct, healthy position.

This is a great example of a brand communicating a public health message. We explore this idea further in our Brandstanding micro trend.
