Milan – Italian design studio en&is has unveiled a MegaPhone for the iPhone.
In a departure from the usual style of high-tech speakers, this passive amplifier is simply a horn made out of ceramics. The user slots in the phone at the top, and a thin wooden frame enables it to ‘float off the table… to increase the vibration of the object and to optimise the emission of sound’, according to the designers.
