London – An intimate Cheese and Beer Salon was held at The Future Laboratory on Wednesday evening (30 March), organised by Cannikin, as part of an initiative to support charities by encouraging people to attend a series of micro events.
Hosted by Natalie Jones, an account manager at The Future Laboratory, the event introduced visitors to the combination of cheese and beer. Paddy Plunkett from Neal’s Yard Dairy guided people through a selection of artisanal cheeses from the UK and Ireland, including a Stichelton, which is made from unpasteurised, organic cows milk at Collingthwaite Farm in Nottinghamshire. Beers for the evening included India Pale Ale from the Kernal Brewery and Orval Ale, made by monks.
