New York – French fashion brand A.P.C has opened a new shop in Manhattan.
The new space is part of the brand’s Specials concept stores, and will stock its denim collection as well as A.P.C. ‘We’re taking pieces from past collections that we think are suitable for now and selling them,’ says founder and owner Jean Touitou.
The store will also feature a quilt collection by designer Jessica Ogden. ‘We’re taking A.P.C. fabrics from 20–25 years ago and making them into quilts,’ says Touitou. Fashion brands are increasingly re-using old materials for new collections.
