Cologne – German design collective Milz has created a series of drawing machines, which they used at the IMM Cologne exhibition earlier this month.
The machines were set up to sketch Milz’s furniture designs, providing visitors with a personalised flyer. The designers showed an interesting collection of work, including a stool with detachable legs, enabling it to be shipped flat, and a foldable chair made out of sheet steel.
The collective from Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany comprises industrial designers Philipp Hermes and Dustin Jessen, as well as interactive and communication designers Andreas Picker and Simon Deeg.
Look out for LS:N Global’s IMM Cologne market report next week.
