Down to earth: Hotel goes back to nature

Dnepropertrovsk, Ukraine – A new hotel has been constructed completely from renewable resources.

‘Friend House’ by Ryntovt Design is inspired by its natural surroundings and is made of ecologically sound materials including clay, reeds and wood.

Inside the hotel, the clay walls in colours such as beige and grey are reminiscent of a cave. Wood is used throughout, including the floor, and on benches and sinks.
