Aktion station: Gustav plays to the gallery

Knokke-Heist, Belgium – Fashion label AF Vandevorst has teamed up with Hoet Bekaert Gallery to launch ‘Gustav’, a pop-up space for fashion, art, vintage furniture and jewellery. The building is a former waffle house built in 1924. When the lease runs out a hotel will be erected.

Following the success of its first guerilla store ‘Aktion I’, AF Vandevorst will open ‘Aktion II’ in Gustav. This will be a temporary store selling shoes, accessories, lingerie and bags. In a separate area, Furniture Love will display 20th century furniture by Jacques Seeuws and Norman Foster, and in the back of the house Hoet Bekaert Gallery will present works by artists such as Amanda Ross-Ho, Caroline McCarthy and Hannes Van Severen. Visitors will also be able to have picnics in the garden.
