Paris – Louis Vuitton has appealed to the affluent modern traveller in its Spring 2011 menswear collection. While its forthcoming Autumn 2010 line took its inspiration from the Bleisure trend, for next spring the French luxury house has interpreted how today’s digitally minded traveller might dress.
The inspirations for the line encapsulate the wide range of activities that the modern traveller might undertake, including globetrotting via the click of a mouse. Parachute jackets suggest a traveller interested in extreme sports, while safari jackets appeal to an outback adventurer.
The addition of clever details, such as Chinese quilting, shows a brand aware of its market. Louis Vuitton has once again understood the behaviour of today’s new global jet-setting professionals.
