maharishi x G-SHOCK - Pacifist Preppers: Part II

London – For their latest collection, Casio G-Shock and streetwear brand Maharishi have created a short film that explores a post-apocalyptic landscape and future regime – not that dissimilar to The Hunger Games – and on point for Millennials.

The film, Pacifist Preppers Part II, promotes the new watch model – the third addition in the collaboration between the two brands. The film follows the preppers – a group who prepare for a future in which basic needs are not met by the state – as they move through a dystopian forest setting.

‘These enlightened souls no longer bury tinned foods in bunkers that would require guns for protection and are rather becoming experts in hunting and gathering techniques,’ says the Maharishi website. Inspired by Maharishi’s iconic Camouflage Lunar print, the setting of the film captures the dark, utilitarian mood of the collection.
