Melbourne – A reusable water bottle with a built-in filtration system has been developed by eco design company Half A Teaspoon.
The 321 Water refillable bottle, which is made from recyclable materials, combines a French press-style plunger with a built-in carbon block filter to create a manual filtration system. The filter removes chlorine and any unpleasant tastes from tap water.
Half A Teaspoon founders claim it takes at least three litres of water to make just one litre of bottled water. With growing consumer antagonism towards bottled water, 321 Water may have the perfectly balanced solution.
