Berlin – Conceptual fashion label Bless has opened a new retail experience called Bless Home.
The space, inside a Berlin apartment, will have a caretaker who will add personal possessions and paraphernalia, reinforcing the immersive experience throughout their stay. The first inhabitant is Parisian conceptual artist Cyril Duval, who works under the name Item Idem.
In addition to Duval’s personal items, the shop features an archive of projects from Bless, along with items for sale. Visitors are encouraged to explore and interact with the space, to ‘take tea and talk, read on the balcony, look through the cupboard or just laze in the hammock’.
French designers Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec recently exhibited designs in a lived-in apartment.
