Jerusalem – A new exhibition in Jerusalem is showcasing the work of young Israeli designers inspired by the city’s heritage.
The Time 02 exhibition, part of Jerusalem Design Week, is a platform for the designers to explore their city’s history and the realities of daily life there.
Designers Atar Brosh, Merav Schnaps and Ohad Banit have designed a ‘Jerusalem Clock’ displaying important prayer times rather than just the hour of the day. Other designs include ‘Splitting the Difference’ jewellery by Talia Winer, and ‘Safety Matches’ by Roi Vaspi Yanai and Dan Hochberg, who have sculpted a packet of matches to represent the Jerusalem skyline.
LS:N Global will be keeping an eye for other interesting work coming out of Jerusalem Design Week.
