Ubiquitous networking, where inanimate objects communicate with computers and with each other, might seem like a distant reality. But a new radio-frequency identification (RFID) printer is making it possible to network everything, by printing small RFID stamps that can be placed anywhere a person chooses.
Designed by France-based tech group Violet, the Mir:ror project is designed to connect all your objects. The possibilities are endless – you might never lose your keys again, as a stamp on the key ring would continually communicate their location to your mobile phone.
