Paris – Pascal Grasso Architectures has taken a geometrical approach to transforming the showroom corridors at fashion sourcing company “Stella K”:http://www.stella-k.fr/. White walls have been covered in a pattern of protruding blocks which ‘provoke disorder and disruption to the senses’ according to the architectural firm. Once just simple passages, the corridors are now a focal point for the display of clothes and fashion accessories.
The blocks are made from lacquered MDF and the geometrical effect increases along the corridors, while gradually fading as you move towards the offices. Suspended lighting creates the effect of ‘falling tears from the ceiling’.
