Paris – ‘Voyage en Capitale – Louis Vuitton et Paris’ at Musée Carnavalet opened last week, documenting the story of legendary Parisian Louis Vuitton.
The exhibition documents his prominent involvement in the cultural and artistic history of Paris, and also the company’s rise to fame, from the opening of the first shop to the iconic luxury brand it is today.
Symbolic monogrammed trunks and luggage pieces will be on display, along with various other work complementing the brand’s recently published book 100 Legendary Trunks, which LS:N Global reported on last month.

The exhibition is open from 13 October to 27 February 2011.
