London – An exhibition at the London Design Festival explores the voids and the often overlooked spaces of design. Objects with a Void, by Workshop For Potential Design, features work by designers Max Lamb, Peter Marigold, Gemma Holt, Study O Portable, Paul Elliman and Hiroko Shiratori.
Marigold created a series of clay vessels, each slightly larger than the last, by placing clay into a hole in a log that was hollowed out more for each piece. Design studio Study O Portable showed a series of hollow containers called Fuzz, created through the build-up of resin layers that eventually form a thick surface.
The exhibition in the Brompton design district runs until 26 September.
LS:N Global will continue to report on key exhibitions and shows from the London Design Festival throughout the week.
