Global – Fingerprint recognition could make conventional car keys obsolete, as a new car concept from Peugeot features doors without mechanical keys. The Peugeot Touch concept car uses sensor technology for fingerprint recognition, ensuring that only the owner can open the door.
The concept car, designed by Enache Florin, also incorporates the touch technology into other parts of the vehicle that require opening or activation – meaning owners are assured complete personal security. Florin has also put LED lights into the front for a custom look, giving the vehicle a unique presence on the road at night.
