London – A new coffee containing antioxidants has hit the shelves of UK supermarkets. Nescafé’s new Green Blend contains unroasted beans that the brand claims give the brew its goodness.
Unroasted green coffee beans are naturally rich in antioxidants that can help protect the body’s cells from damage. Nearly two thirds (64%) of consumers recognise that antioxidants are good for their health, Nescafé research revealed.
The instant coffee brand’s move into the Pharmafoods market is further proof that consumers can expect to see more products geared toward wellbeing on their supermarket shelves.
