London – The understanding and importance of design as a means of reinvigorating consumers during the recession was addressed yesterday at LS:N Global’s second network evening.
Guest expert speakers within the design industry and LS:N editors and writers joined a group of network members at the Rough Luxe Hotel in Kings Cross in a discussion about the growing role of design and its future.
Experts included interior designers Rabih Hage and Martin Brudnizki, curator Libby Sellers, graphic designer Paul Austin of MadeThought, product designers Peter Marigold and Industrial Facility’s Sam Hecht, and Ben Evans, director of the London Design Festival. With our speed-networking model encouraging lively and concise discussion, much was discovered by all on a pleasant summer’s evening.
