Melbourne – The freshest vegetables are on the menu at the newly redesigned Circa restaurant. Owners John and Lisa van Haandel have collaborated with local designers to ‘deconstruct the dining experience.’
Working with several Australian creative companies, Circa has called upon local talent to inform the new space. Gloss Creative, Format, Comer & King and experimental florist Joost Bakker, among others, give the new setting a collaborative touch.
In the kitchen garden, vertically stacked plant boxes are watered with the runoff from the restaurant’s roof. By tapping in to the clientele’s desire for greentelligence, Circa is sure to fare well with the locals.
