Jerusalem – A new set of garden tools shows how design can be functional and stylish. Industrial designer Itay Laniado has designed what he calls ‘garden tools from a material, aesthetic and functional perspective’.
The bow saw, machete, shovel and spade are all made from bending and stretching oak wood into functional forms, while at the same time maintaining simplicity. Users new to planting flowers and growing vegetables will find these tools easy to use, as the hand grips are all marked in red.
