Beauty Futures Network Evening 2016: Inge Theron

London – Facial muscles need to be exercised just like any other part of the body, according to the founder of FaceGym.

London – Facial muscles need to be exercised just like any other part of the body, according to the founder of FaceGym, the world’s first non-invasive facial workout studio.

  • FaceGym uses language around fitness and working out to promote its unique facial exercise classes
  • ‘We see ourselves as a fitness company, we just happen to work on the face’ – Inge Theron, founder, FaceGym

At last week’s Beauty Futures Network Evening, visual trends analyst Aleksandra Szymanska spoke to Theron about the thinking behind a fitness company that focuses on the facial area, and how the worlds of health, wellness and beauty are converging.

According to Theron, for the past 50 years consumers have been led to believe that fitness starts from the neck down, but FaceGym aims to show that the facial muscles deserve the same level of attention and exercise as the rest of the body.

FaceGym offers different levels of workouts and solutions to combat the Digital Disorders that are increasingly prevalent in modern society, such as phone face and tech neck.
