São Paulo – C&A Brazil’s new flagship store in Iguatemi shopping centre has had a glamorous makeover, turning the high-street retailer into a high-end fashion destination.
The new-look store was designed by Ohio-based retail branding agency Chute Gerdeman, where an entirely new C&A brand identity has been created with the luxury-driven Iguatemi shopper in mind.
Citing the vibrancy and energy of Brazilian women as a key inspiration, Chute Gerdeman has flooded the central area with light and colourful graphics, and installed a moving digital wall centrepiece. The three-storey LED display wall is situated around an impressive central spiral staircase and will play high-energy fashion show and music videos.
As more stores look to digital design enhancements for customer entertainment, LS:N Global has noted the trend for Inline Retail. We reported this when H&M opened its Paris flagship store late last year.
