London – Pop-up shops have been around for a while. But just as interest in them starts to fade, a new concept pops up.
The Pop-Out shop, created by PR agency 15 Minutes for Puma Archive, is part of its Rewind Forward project. It consists of a customised vehicle that is transformed into a shop as it travels through London, Manchester and Liverpool. Seating, storage, tv screens and a projector pop out as the vehicle drives along. At the same time, the pieces engage with the outside world – as seating and tables or as sculptures.
Visitors will be able to buy Puma Archive products stored in the clever boxes. As we explore in our Flexthetics Inspire, it is crucial that brands explore flexible design solutions.
Will this be the future of pop-up? LS:N Global believes so. For more on how consumers can expect more live experiences like these, look out for our forthcoming Conviviality Culture report.
