Israel – Pinterest is a great tool for discovery and compiling wish lists. But in a bid to inject colour into consumers’ Pinterest boards, start-up company Bazaart has launched a free iPad app that enables Pinterest users to compile their pins and turn them into stylised collages.
Using their fingers, users can crop, cut, resize and place their pins on a board, and add background colours and layers to make their own images. Once they have made their collage, they can share it with friends or ask them to collaborate on a new image.
‘Pinterest and other user curated sites have created opportunities for brands to have a more profound relationship with their customers,’ Bazaart co-founder and fashion director Gili Golander tells LS:N Global. To find out more, read our User Curated Retail microtrend.
