Tokyo – A new micro-sized digital camera allows consumers to capture images and print them instantly. The Xiao camera, by Japanese toy company Tomy, combines digital camera technology with a tiny colour printer so users can develop photographs within a minute of taking them. The photos are printed on a special adhesive paper measuring 2×3inches per print, adding to the fun, portable aspect of the product.
Currently available only in Japan, the micro device mashes together the functional ease associated with digital cameras with the tangible aspect of analogue photography – ideal for on-the-move consumers wishing to instantly capture and share photographic moments.
