London – The top shelf in your local bar is set to be up in lights, thanks to Scotch whisky brand Ballantine’s. The brand’s new whisky bottles, designed by The Core, feature an illuminated label that mimics the look – and moving bars – of a graphic equaliser, and are part of the on-trade-led ‘Listen to Your Beat’ initiative for Ballantine’s Finest.
Designers and artists are increasingly exploring the potential of light to create stimulating products. Ballantine’s top-shelf effort is sure to light the way.
