The burning of electronic cable by recyclers in Ghana’s capital Accra accounts for 15% of Europe’s dioxin releases.

Royal College of Art student Hal Watts has developed a sustainable recycling system called Esource, which uses a bicycle-powered cable shredder and sorter to tackle the harmful consequences of this process while boosting revenue for the people who depend on it.
