The work of graphic artist Anthony Burrill is very positive. Pieces are bold, witty and usually packed with double meaning. His illustrations for The Economist provided a different angle to the text. ‘I always like to have a few layers and a resonance in my work,’ says Burrill. ‘Rubbish – what is it about?’ he asks in reference to his work for The Economist. ‘It’s about consumerism.’
