Paris – Chanel Beauty has created an animated short film to promote its latest collection, launched digitally on luxury website Nowness.
Chanel’s global creative director of make-up Peter Philips has pushed the boundaries of how Chanel advertises its beauty products with this characterful and fun film, which has appeared on beauty blogs around the world.
Here Comes the Beauty Pack features a jet-propelled robot, a beaming sun god and an impish spider. Philips’s characters embark on a journey that begins with a lipstick-powered automaton blasting through the clouds and ends on more familiar ground, with a model whose chic ensemble is reminiscent of Coco Chanel herself.
