Amsterdam – SexyLand is a new members’ club concept curated each day by a different person.
Co-owners are invited to choose the kind of club they would like to host, which SexyLand suggests could be anything from an exhibition to a club night, knitting group or swingers club, from a launch to a séance. The space was designed to foster a sense of community in the city and to act as a showcase for its diverse inhabitants.
Members pay an annual fee of £56 ($70, €65), which gives them complimentary access to all of the events. Non-members can also attend and for £2.15 ($2.70, €2.50) they have access to events for a week.
The space includes a bar, a stage, a sound system and a projector, and members have access to kitchen facilities and a ping-pong table.
In line with Civic Brands, consumers are looking for brands that use their influence to foster a sense of community and promote the sharing economy.
