CES Review Part 1: bigger screens and thinner PCs

The 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was all about size. The exhibition was bigger than ever, attracting 153,000 visitors, including your LS:N Global correspondent, and a record 3,100 exhibitors across 1.86m square feet of exhibit space. Some products on show were bigger, some were better, some thinner and some smaller. TV screens were bigger and thinner. Laptops have slimmed down, and many companies launched new ultrabooks. And glasses-free 3D technology is now viewable on smaller screens than ever before.
