London – Designers at London Fashion Week are fusing print patterns for a modern take on digital amalgamation.
Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders worked his print magic for autumn/winter 2011 with geometric zigzags, baroque florals and tropical jungle foliage. His long and lean silhouette was the backdrop to a colourful selection of digitally manipulated prints ranging from azure blue and lotus leaf green tropical graphics to deeper burgundy and salmon pink miniature repeat patterns.
London-based Clements Ribeiro returned to the London catwalk after a two-year absence with a modern digital print motif – leopard fused with ornate baroque shapes dominated their autumn/winter 2011 collection – seen in warm bronze to cream and grey.
