Copenhagen – Conceptual fashion designer Henrik Vibskov showed his spring/summer 2015 collection as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week, continuing a presentation style on display earlier this year at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
Bricks, construction sites and water sports inspired the collection, entitled The Sticky Brick Fingers, which was shown in collaboration with the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet choreographer Alexander Ekman.
Performing in a shallow pool, dancers opened the show wearing black swimsuits and kneepads covered with a white dressing gown. Dancing produced a rhythmic splashing that caused water to splash onto the catwalk and provided an additional layer of sound to the music accompanying the show. The pool was made from black rubber that extended out onto the surrounding catwalk and was lined with bricks made from foam and plywood.
Elements for this felt a lot like our Body Temples macrotrend, while the mix of the different disciplines where reminiscent of The Convergence Economy macrotrend.
